JoAnne has always had a passion for fitness and nutrition from a young age thanks to her mother who always had nutrition and fitness magazines around the house. Watching her mom enjoying her daily exercise routine while she was getting ready for school, inspired and motivated her to participate and learn more. Growing up on the East Coast, in CT, she was involved in many sports, especially swimming, which she participated in all through school and a Master's team through college.
Reading and learning all she could about nutrition led her to the kitchen where she loved to help cook, create, and bake recipes with her twin sister. Together they loved making recipes and desserts healthier and allergen friendly.

JoAnne worked in a marketing research company for quite a few years after receiving her Associate's degree in Office Administration. However, her love for nutrition stayed with her and she followed her dream to attend Bastyr University, in beautiful Kenmore, WA, where she received her Bachelor's and Master's in Nutrition.
Working in a supplement company for years has provided her with a vast knowledge of supplements, herbs, dietary protocols, and excellent customer service and support! In addition, she has created meal plans, recipes, and dietary plans for individuals.
In her free time, she loves working out and lifting weights, going for long walks, hiking, reading, and cooking and creating recipes in the kitchen, as she believes feeling good begins with what you eat!
