Elizabeth Somer is an award-winning nutrition expert with more than 35 years of experience and a best-selling author of nine books, including Nutrition for a Healthy Pregnancy, Food & Mood, and The Essential Guide to Vitamins and Minerals, and she’s a co-author of The Nutrition Desk Reference. Somer is also an advisory board member to Shape magazine and a contributing editor to Eating Well magazine. She has appeared on the Today Show, Dr. Oz, The View, Good Morning America, and CBS This Morning.

Barry Lance

Barry Lance, MD

Board-certified in both internal medicine and endocrinology, Dr. Lance has more than 40 years of experience as a practicing physician and expert in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism. He founded his own concierge medical practice to enable him to achieve his mission of giving his patients the time and attention they deserve for optimal health care. Throughout his career, he has treated thousands of patients, providing a personal and holistic review of their lifestyles before making recommendations and providing care.

Harry Oken

Harry Oken, MD

With more than 30 years of experience, Dr. Oken is an attending physician at Johns Hopkins Howard County General Hospital, a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Maryland, and the medical director for the Columbia Association, a non-profit community organization serving more than 100,000 members. He’s been listed in Best Doctors of America every year since 1997. He also continues to do research with omega-3 fatty acids and has published a variety of articles in professional journals. Dr. Oken’s central theme with patients is stressing good nutrition, attaining a healthy weight, getting regular exercise and controlling stress.

Tamara Bernadot

With over 25 years of experience working with retailers in the health and wellness industry, Tamara Bernadot has developed a passion for nurturing small businesses to encourage development and growth. As a founder and Chief Nutrition Officer for Persona, Tamara leads our nutrition team. She works on assessment logic and sourcing of our high-quality supplements.

Angie Kuhn

Angie Kuhn, MS, RDN

As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Angie holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Bastyr University and a Master in Sport & Exercise Nutrition from Leeds Beckett University. Her experience includes educating customers on techniques to develop positive relationships with food and exercise.

Karina Churchill

Karina Churchill, BSN

With a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Bastyr University, Karina's background includes exercise science, sports nutrition and culinary arts. As manager of our nutrition team, she assists in product development and research. With over 20 years of customer service experience, she is readily available to customers for guidance on nutrition, health, and supplementation.

Leah Keeney

Leah Keeney, BSN

As a graduate of Central Washington University with a Bachelors of Food Science and Nutrition, Leah has a background in research, marketing, and education within the nutrition and wellness industry. She has led nutritional education programs in local school systems and professional organizations.

Ivy Karlinsky

Ivy Karlinsky, BSNEx

A graduate of Bastyr University, Ivy holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Exercise Science. She began her career in accounting, but changed paths to pursue her passion for nutrition and helping others. Her experience includes planning personalized nutrition programs for clients, writing educational materials, and working as a personal trainer.

Courtney Jackson

Courtney Jackson, MPH

Courtney earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Bastyr University and her Master of Public Health in Nutrition from Liberty University. She is a Washington State Certified Nutritionist and is currently working to become a Certified Health Education Specialist. Courtney has held multiple positions in health promotion fields, including diet coaching and group exercise training.
