Vicky’s interest for nutrition started when she started experiencing digestive discomfort in middle school. She started researching into food and nutrition, thus sparking and interest in science. As she was able to understand more about the food she ate, she also was able to feel her best with these changes. She hopes to be able to help others achieve the same relief and understanding through nutrition.
Vicky was born and raised in snowy Minnesota. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. During her time here she has obtained various experiences in nutrition. She interned at a local non-profit and started a project to bring school gardens and fresh produce to schools. She also worked with a local vegan yogurt start-up to bring more nutritious and sustainable alternatives to the community. Vicky is very passionate about community nutrition and sustainability.
