Our hearts continue to go out to the families around the globe who are impacted by the coronavirus (COVID-19). We know this virus is impacting people differently, and we understand your desire to protect yourself against it. We're in this with you.
While we can't predict the longevity of the virus, we are taking your health and wellness seriously throughout our business practices - from sourcing our nutrients to carefully placing your personalized vitamin packs in our shipping boxes.
I wanted to take a minute to share the precautions we're taking to keep you and your family safe.
Our Nutrients: All of our vitamins, herbs and dietary supplements are manufactured in the United States from the highest-quality ingredients at U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) compliant facilities.
Each and every batch of our vitamins, minerals, herbs and supplements are tested by our manufacturers for identity, microbial contamination, potency and contaminants such as solvents, pesticides and heavy metals.
Our Operations: We follow FDA guidelines for sanitation processes, including aggressive cleaning and disinfection of all workspaces throughout the operations process. We adhere to FDA safety requirements, including the use of protective gear - hair nets, face masks, gloves and shoe covers - for all employees who are interacting with product shipments.
Our Shipping: Our vitamins and nutritional supplements are surrounded in tamper-proof packaging to keep them (and you!) protected during their journey to your doorstep.
Giving people access to essential nutrition has always been at the core of why we launched Persona in 2017. We continue to extend monetary and product donations to those in need during this uncertain and disruptive time. In the past month, Persona has donated more than $500,000 through a variety of programs, including its gifting to First Responders and Hospital Healthcare workers, its legacy charitable partner - Vitamin Angels - as well as Meals on Wheels America.
Persona is shipping all of our orders on time and have 100% inventory making it possible for you to purchase and receive your package via FedEx. To do this Persona is taking measures to protect and support all of our employees - those working remotely as well as essential staff reporting to Persona's facilities. We have increased salaries for our associates who are continuing to process your monthly vitamin subscriptions while giving them daily meals to make lunch easier and stop the stress associated with food insecurities.
We recognize and appreciate that all of our associates are sacrificing to keep our business running and your essential nutrients delivered to your doorsteps. I can't stress this enough - we are here for you!
